Inventec Appliances Corporation (IAC), originally the Inventec Handheld Device Division, became an independent company in 2000. The Corporation established its headquarters in Taipei and integrated its R&D and manufacturing capabilities in Shanghai and Nanjing to design a variety of products in intelligent network terminals and wireless communications sectors. The product offerings include: PDA, Mobile Phones, MP3 Players, GPS, Graphic Calculators, and Wi-Fi Phone.

From the beginning, IAC has aspired to be an industry leader in telecommunications and network. Utilizing the resources of the greater China area, IAC follows two basic business models: Community Own Brand Marketing (COBM) and Integrated Original Design Manufacturing (IODM).
